Tom Holt - absolutely shocking place, rubbish customer service, paid £15 for 'ribs' which were fat and gristle. Staff were horrible. overall 1.0 out of 5

Rebekah Bosworth - If you're looking for somewhere to have a drink with friends it's fine. For food don't even bother, a limited menu - and the food you pay for isn't even worth the amount you're paying. Not to mention the shabby customer service. I visited this evening with my partner and we ordered the BBQ Ribs and the veg lasagne. The ribs were £13.95 and the lasagne £8.95. I understand that ribs don't come with tonnes of meat, but they were pure gristly nonsense. Almost £14 for bone and fat? The lasagne was at most a £5 portion. The salad it came with was almost three times the size of the lasagne. Upon ordering I changed from a fish pie to the lasagne -we sat at a table adjacent to the bar only to begin hearing the staff discussing the inconvenience of changing an order. (It hadn't even been out through yet!!) They continue to discuss (loudly) their day and gossip while standing right next to our table. Won't be visiting again. Only go if you want a pint! overall 1.0 out of 5

Mary Newton - A nice pub with good atmosphere. It has a brewery linked next door. The food looked very appetising, though we did not eat there. overall 3.0 out of 5

Molly Perkins - Children's curry and rice was nice and the kids enjoyed it. I ordered fish pie (£12) which was served with salad (iceberg lettuce mainly) very little fish for the cost of the dish and nothing but table salt to make it tasty. Very disappointing. My husband ordered lamb shank which was served with a jacket spud and a small amount of salad, a very odd combination and again for the quality of the dish. and price he was disappointed. Quantity doesn't always mean quality!! overall 2.0 out of 5
