Overall
Keith Bevan- Ideally placed to get to lots of beaches and attractions. We camped in one of the pitches with water and electric. Nice spot away from the road so diid not hear traffic. Lost a star as no mention that you have to pay for showers although 50p for 5mins was ample. overall 4.0 out of 5

Overall
Lisa- A nice clean, very friendly family run site but not great for campers. The pitching field is the most open to the elements and closest to the coast so full on coastal breeze and farthest from everything on site. The toilets, showers and wash up area are really far from the campers field. I will never understand sites that put mobiles and hardstands for caravans and camper vans all around the facilities when it's the campers that actually need them!! To make it even more difficult they've installed a sheep wire fence the whole length of the electric pitches AND and man made soil wall on the campers side so that you can't even cut through to the toilet block you have to walk the full length of the field and all the way around. It was a long walk in the dark and lashing rain with small kids to go to the toilet. The ground in slightly hilly but easy to peg. However the man made soil mounds/wall with strimmed grass clippings provided the perfect spot for rodents to live witch tunnelled under our tent and kept us awake and then chewed through the tent floor. the bar is comfortable but a bit dated, Not much in the kids arcade which was fine because they couldn't spend all their pocket money! The two playgrounds are tiny and really only toddler sized stuff. The only access to Lydstep Beach is pedestrian only via the private Static mobile site across the road. It's a good 10 min walk downhill to the cove so you need to travel lightly to the beach as its an even longer walk up!! I can't fault the people running the site they were fantastic but just based on proximity to the facilities (and the fact my large tent was eaten) we all said we would never camp there again. And it's such a pity! overall 3.0 out of 5

christine weeks- Very friendly family run site. We stayed in the Gold Horizon static caravan. 3 bedrooms, 2 toilets one with shower, spacious seating area inside, and an outside decked balcony. We would recommend Whitewell Holiday Park to family and friends. Lovely relaxing stay. overall 4.0 out of 5
